Starbucks was established in 1971. The company's earliest incarnation was as a coffee, tea and spice retailer in Seattle.

Types of Jobs Available at Starbucks

Starbucks hires workers for a number of different positions in its retail locations. Each store does its own hiring for full and part-time openings. Baristas are responsible for working with the public and preparing beverages. Experienced baristas can apply for available shift supervisor positions and continue working with customers on a daily basis.
