Living in Cleveland OH is a challenge. With the amount of unemployed persons a employer can hire the unemployed as part time employees as they can work a small amount of hours and continue to collect benefits. The employer will not have to offer health care insurance as these unemployed persons as they still have their benefits from their former employment. The company that I'm employed with has tried to force full time staff out of their jobs for these part time people.
It's sad the way people are using such a difficult time to benefit their selves. I now work longer hours for less money because if I where to refuse I would be unemployed and unable to collect anything.
