Casino Jobs for Those in Transition
This profession welcomes those in transition. Since the games are relatively easy to learn, dealers and other casino floor personnel come from a variety of educational experiences and previous careers.
It doesn't really matter if you have a degree in broadcasting or sociology with ten years of professional experience in that field, or if you worked as a receptionist at an office for the past five years. As long as you have good people skills, can handle stress, and have the ability to think fast on your feet, chances are the expanding gaming industry can put you to work. In a random sampling of casino employees working in Las Vegas, many were previously homemakers, military personnel, food and beverage workers, and recent business school graduates.
