Dude Ranch Maintenance Jobs
Dude Ranch Maintenance Responsibilities May Include:
- Other duties as assigned
- Keeping the ranch grounds - lawns, gardens, and trees, etc. - in good shape
- Mowing, weeding, and watering
- Assist with irrigation of our hay meadows
- Maintaining irrigation ditches and keeping them clear of debris and beaver dams
- Fencing
- Mosquito control
- Keeping up wood piles
- Trail maintenance work
- Painting
- Guest transportation to and from the airport
- Landscaping
- Hot tub upkeep
- Running errands
Maintenance Requirements May Include:
- Experience with many tools, mowers, auto engines, and driving trailers
- Able to lift and carry 85 pounds a minimum of 100 feet while working at altitudes of 8,000 feet or higher
- Driving vehicles with manual transmissions
- Able to work long hours outside in the sun
