The FBI recently conducted a “hiring blitz.” At one time not long ago they sought to hire more than 2,100 professional staff employees and 850 special agents. That was the largest hiring blitz in the FBI’s history. Even now the Bureau is looking to bring more people on board with language and computer science skills. “But,” explains Raucci, “we’re also looking for professionals in a wide variety of fields who have a deep desire to help protect our nation from terrorists, spies, and others who wish us harm.”
The FBI periodically conducts recruiting events. There is something going on nearly every week all across the country. The events should reach a diverse group of candidates – they are scheduled to appear at military career fairs, college job fairs, and job fairs for several different professional associations and student groups.
