General Electric is looking for a fuel engineering consultant to co-lead the US and Japan technical development plans for new fuel technology deployment. The person will also author and present papers at selected industry conferences, and develop models of fuel, cladding, and assembly behavior for incorporation into predictive codes. The ideal candidate will have a M.S. degree in nuclear, materials, or mechanical engineering or in physics or applied mechanics with at least ten years of experience evaluating fuel or materials irradiation behavior.
