REFORESTATION JOBS WORK CONDITIONS

Reforestation is hard work. Although there are many different jobs involved and work conditions vary as much as the terrain being replanted, you should expect to work long, arduous hours. You'll get up early and spend most of every day clearing growth, digging holes, and planting seedlings.

Accommodations vary by company. Workers sometimes live in nearby towns and the company transports its employees to and from the work site daily. In other cases, the workers might live in temporary shelters—often tents—either at or near the planting site. Be sure to find out all the details when you inquire about available positions.
