Brundage Mountain Resort is located 100 miles north of Boise, Idaho, near the town of McCall, and lies in the Payette National Forest. McCall is not just a lively resort town but is also a center for mining, timber, and cattle ranching, which gives it an authentic Western feel. McCall is the jumping off place to the Frank Church Wilderness Area and several wild and senic rivers.  The resort, overlooking Payette Lake, promotes itself as a great powder skiing area and is wonderful for families.

They even have a drive-up daycare. The mountain summit provides views of the snow-capped Salmon River Mountains, Oregon's Eagle Cap Wilderness and the Seven Devils.

Winter Activities

There is an even distribution of wide, groomed trails for beginners, intermediates, and experts at Brundage. Experts will be especially pleased by the chance to ski through numerous glades and bowls covered by untouched snow.  Guided backcountry skiing by snowcat on over 19,000 acres is also offered. The mountain offers 1,800 vertical feet of skiing over 41 wilderness-lined trails.  Brundage is uncrowded and upspoiled.

One of the biggest events in McCall is the annual Winter Carnival in February, which is famous for its ice-sculptures. Zim's Hot Springs is 20 minutes out of McCall, offering natural soak pools, swimming, and game rooms.

Summer Activities

Brundage has over 20 miles of hand-built single track trails for mountain bikers. During the Summer the lift operates on Friday, Saturday and Sundays from 10 until 5.  Many visitors enjoy scenic chairlift rides to the top of the mountain.  Brundage Mountain Whitewater Adventures.
