Jiminy Peak, located in the Berkshire Mountains in western Massachusetts, is the only four-season resort in the state. Only forty-five minutes from Albany, New York, the resort is one of the largest in the state and is a popular year-round destination.

Winter Activities

Jiminy Peak boasts the longest night skiing trail in the East, The Left Bank, which is two miles long. With twenty-eight trails, seven lifts, snowmaking capabilities for 95 percent of the mountain, and an even spread of beginner, intermediate, and expert trails, this resort is sure to please skiers of all abilities.

Other winter activities include ice skating, ice fishing in nearby lakes, and swimming in the resort's heated outdoor pool.

Snowboarders will enjoy the resort's snowboarding park, board rentals, and instruction.

Summer Activities

Warmer weather brings the Champion's Cup Tennis Tournament, a major event featuring the likes of Tracy Austin. The resort has an alpine slide, laser trap shooting, miniature golf, and horseback riding. Other popular activities include hiking in nearby Pittsfield State Park and enjoying drama productions at Williamstown's Theater Festival.

Apr�s-ski

Jiminy Peak doesn't have much in the way of nightlife. Those seeking night clubs or fine dining will have to head to Pittsfield, about ten minutes away.

Transportation

Jiminy Peak is located in western Massachusetts, forty-five minutes from Albany, New York. Albany County Airport is the closest airport with service from many major airlines. From Albany take I-90 East to Exit 7, left on Washington Avenue Ext., continue to Route 43 East to Hancock, turn right onto Brodie Mountain Road and into the resort.

There is no shuttle bus system at Jiminy Peak. Almost every condo on the mountain is walking distance from a chairlift. It should be fairly easy to catch a ride to nearby Pittsfield.

Housing

Employees are on their own for housing. Most seasonal workers are locals who simply commute to the mountain from home. Newcomers should have no difficulty renting a house or apartment in Pittsfield.

There is no deadline for applications, but the resort's biggest hiring push comes at the annual open house over Columbus Day weekend in October. Those interested in applying may also call or write for an application.
