Major League Lacross Jobs

Major League Lacrosse (MLL) was founded in February of 1999 by Jake Steinfeld, Dave Morrow and Tim Robertson. This professional men’s sports league is made up of six teams. Five teams are based in the United States, while the remaining team is located in Canada. The first season of regular play for the MLL started in 2001.

Internships at Major League Lacrosse

Major League Lacrosse offers a number of internships to students currently enrolled in a college program, as well as recent graduates. The internships are based at the MLL office, in Boston, MA. Students may be able to get academic credit for their work, and all the internships offered by the MLL are unpaid.

Internships are available in spring (January to mid-May), summer (mid-May to late August) and fall (September to early-mid December).

All candidates accepted into an internship program with MLL are required to perform general office duties on request, including the following:

  • Answering the phone
  • Filing
  • Mailing prizes to fans

Students who would like to be considered for a MLL internship can apply for consideration on a year-round basis.The league hires interns for General League Operations, PR/Sports Information and Video Production positions. Candidates who would like to be considered for the PR/Sports Information internship must submit a writing sample along with a resume and cover letter.
