AT THE AIRPORT IN INDONESIA |
|
Upon arrival at Jakarta's Soekarno-Hatta International Airport it's wise to change some dollars to rupiah before heading into the city. Depending on how much luggage you have, you'll
either want to take a city bus, a private bus, or a taxi into Jakarta. Taxi drivers will approach you from all sides to take you exactly where you need to go, with plenty of room for your baggage. Some of the private bus companies run comfortable, air-conditioned buses to various points in the city. Try to get a spot on one of these as long as it's not the middle of the night and you don't have too much baggage. City buses, while the cheapest option,
are suitable only if you have nothing more than a daypack. Airlines in Jakarta - Air Canada: (021) 570-1666
