There are three express buses that link Kimp'o airport and Seoul. Number 600 departs from the airport every eight minutes from 5am to 11pm and goes to Chamshil. Number 600-2 runs
every twenty minutes from 5:25am to 11pm and goes to the express bus terminal in downtown Seoul, following the same route as number 600. The number 601 goes to the Sheraton Walker Hill Hotel via the city center, and runs every ten minutes. One-way fare is W650. If you need a place to stay when first arriving in Seoul, take a bus to Yonsei University, which is surrounded by inexpensive hotels called yogwan. If you're heading for Southern Seoul, the airport limousine is the most
convenient and expensive method of transportation. It leaves every ten to fifteen minutes from the Korea City Air Terminal and takes about an hour. The ride costs W2,000 one way. All passengers departing from South Korea's international airports are subject to an airport tax of W7,759 (US$9.40). A W1,000 tax is levied on all domestic airline passengers.
