Palmistry (Palm Reader) Careers

We take our hands for granted. We use them for everything from eating to picking our noses. They are the things that make us more advanced than chimps. When we really look at our hands they are fascinating.

Take a look at your hands – a really close look. Examine them from your wrist to your fingertips. What do you see? Anything significant? Do you think that the features of your hand can predict your future? Palm readers do.

Palm readers study people’s hands to help them see the future. The study of hands is called palmistry or chiromancy. Palm readers are called many names – palmists, hand readers, hand analysts, chirologists. Whatever their name, their job is telling fortunes. They base their predictions on the study of the hands. They look at the characteristics of the fingers, nails, prints, patterns, texture, color, shape, and flexibility. A palm reader can look at these features and tell you about your love life, career, health, and much more.  It’s all a bit magical and mysterious.

Palm readers look at all sorts of things to analyze your hands. They look at relative sizes, qualities, and intersections of lines. They read the 3 major lines and the 3 minor lines. They read the hand shapes. They study the dominant hand and the nondominant hand. They observe and compare mounts, lines, and shapes. Then using some supernatural power they tell you about temperament, emotional status, talents, motivations, life purpose, life events, character, and unique aspects of your life.

Some skeptics say that palm reading has absolutely no scientific backing and that there is little research that proves its accuracy. That poses the question – is palm reading more accurate than a fortune cookie? It probably is. But is it something you should base your life decisions on? Probably not.

Other people claim that palm reading is not something that can be taught and that it runs in the family. It is a natural skill that some people are born with and others are not. If you are born with this mystical talent, be confident and use your skills.

If you want to become a palm reader, you should do it. It’s fun. If you aren’t a natural palm reader and still want to learn this fascinating skill try to take a class, read a book, apprentice with a master, study websites, and practice. There is no formal education required to be a palm reader, but do study up. Learn everything you can about hands.  Memorize the lines and how to interpret them.

Then go out and be confident. You must understand the hand if you want to give accurate hand readings.

Palm readers make money every time they read someone’s hands. They can make about $28,000 per year. Usually they are self-employed and work from home, in an office, or at events.

A palm reader can develop a strong client base who will call them at all hours of the day.

Clients span all walks of life – professionals, executives, models, students, travelers, or housewives. Accurate readings are the key to success in this job.

Palm reading is not the job for everyone. You have to be gifted and really understand the hand. But your paycheck comes from telling fortunes so you have to believe in what you do. The big question is…Is this a pseudo-talent or a legit career? There are certainly palm readers that make paychecks in this world. So it is up to you to believe in what you do.
