A recent article on Glassdoor, unveiled where most employers claim to find the people they hire. The data is from 2012, but the general trend is most likely the same for this year. It may surprise you to find out where recruiters seem to be finding their candidates of choice. Take a look:

  3. Company Career Site – 9.8%
  4. Recruiters – 6.6%

There are lots of different routes that job seekers can pursue to try to find a cool job. It’s important to note that nearly 60% of jobs come from referrals, job boards, and company employment pages. While social media is all the craze, you need to spend your time networking and applying for jobs through job boards and company websites.
