TSA – The Front Lines Of Airport Security

When was the last time you went on a flight? Whenever and wherever you fly there is stringent security in place to help keep you safe. The federal government organization responsible for keeping the airways safe is the Transportation Security Administration, or TSA for short.

The most visual TSA position is the Transportation Security Officer. This job is at the front lines of airport security. They screen baggage, perform x-rays, operate metal detectors, pat down passengers, and inspect identifications. It’s a demanding job and officers must be available 24 hours a day to keep the airline industry running smoothly. There is always a demand for qualified applicants.

Are you qualified to work for the TSA? As part of the federal government, the TSA requires that you’re a US citizen or US national with a high school diploma, one year relevant work experience, and a clean criminal and financial history. Are you the the perfect candidate?
