Weekly Roundup

It’s been another busy week here at the JobMonkey blog. Did you notice that we have added yet another new feature? (There’s always something new and exciting at the JobMonkey!) We are now featuring a weekly column from a seasoned career planner. Amy Lindgren owns a career consulting firm in St. Paul, Minnesota and is a nationally syndicated career columnist. We are thrilled that she will be a regular contributor to the JobMonkey as well now. If you missed her most recent posts, check them out now:

>> Better Resumes, Online Applications

>> Meaningless Metrics and Jargon in Resumes

In other news, did you catch all of our news stories this week?

>> Enrollment Up in Tech Ed Programs
>> Federal Government Hiring Number Crunchers
>> Alaska Pipeline Gets Political Boost From Obama
>> Airlines Slash Fares, But It’s Not Enough

And I hope you got a chance to read our weekly features, as well? Like our Reader Mailbag about legitimate work at home job opportunities. Hot Jobs spotlighted resort jobs this week (Aruba, Jamaica, Bahamas… here I come!) And finally, our Tuesday Tips looked at how to volunteer your way into a new job.

Thanks for being with us this week!  Enjoy your weekend!
