1. Facilities Control Systems Engineer, ExxonMobil, Houston, TX

Exxon Mobil is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to oversee the implementation of all control systems engineering requirements. Typical areas of responsibility include providing control system engineering technical leadership and expertise; overseeing control and safety systems; participating in control system technical specification preparation; and participating in Hazardous Operations (HAZOP) reviews. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Control System engineering principles; thorough knowledge of control system hardware; and the ability to adapt to tight deadlines and heavy workloads. The candidate must also have a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.

2. Mine Scheduling/Coordinating Engineer, Suncor Energy, Fort McMurray, Alberta

Suncor Energy is seeking an engineer to supervise Mine Planning and Projects. Responsibilities include coordinating schedules and mine plans in accordance with the company’s overall Mine Operations Business Plan and coordinating budget and business plans. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Engineer degree in Mining, or Civil or Geotechnical engineering. He or she must also have at least five years of planning and scheduling experience in a mining environment, along with a broad range of experience in mining, geotechnical and civil engineering. Experience with Mine planning software is a plus.

3. Chemical/Process Engineer, Syncrude, Fort McMurray, Alberta

Syncrude is seeking a Process/Chemical Engineer with at least five years of experience. Responsibilities will include analyzing plant data and trends and being responsible for mentoring Engineers in Training. The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Chemical Engineering and experience in the oil sands industry.
