In the News: Casinos Booming… in Pennsylvania

The casino industry in Las Vegas and Atlantic City has been hit hard by the economic recession. But business is booming at casinos in Pennsylvania, according to a article from Forbes magazine.

Since Pennsylvania legalized gambling, the state has become home to seven casinos — and one more is slated for its grand opening in May. The $743 million Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem is the pet project of billionaire casino mogul Sheldon Adelson. He says that despite the recession, these Pennsylvania gambling establishments should be able “hold their own”.
