Phone Scripts for Real Estate Agents

The Cure for Awkward Stuttering

Nervous about calling and approaching potential clients? It's understandable to feel the pressure of having to make a great impression in a few minutes. Consider investing in sales phone scripts online. This is a sample real estate script designed for cold calling potential clients. The goal is to learn as much as possible and try to get some business, whether it's a new listing or refinancing prospect. Of course, when calling someone you don't want to sound 'scripted.' Use a script as a guideline.

Hello, This is ____________ and I'm a real estate agent with ____________. There has been quite a few home listings and sales in your area and some of my clients are looking for houses in the neighborhood.

I am calling to see if, by chance, you have any plans to list your home in the next few months or coming year?

Have you been in the neighborhood long?

What are some of the things that attracted you to the neighborhood, to the area in general?

If you decide to move...where would you go next?

And when would you move to ____________?

(If they want to continue on. If not, go down to next section)

The current market being what it is…your home could sell in approximately ____________ to ____________ months. Is that about what you thought?

Is your goal to be moved in ________months or starting the process of selling at that time?

For you to achieve your goal of a move to ____________, what we need to do now...is set a time to meet so we can help you to achieve your goal (or dream or move to).

Which is better for you, ____________ or ____________?
(If they don't want to continue on)

So, I understand that you're not planning to move. Have you considered refinancing your mortgage to get a better rate?

The rates are ____ and it could take as little as a couple of weeks and a few hours of your time to get the refinancing completed.

If we could help you get a better mortgage, which saves you money, would you be interested in doing that?

I'll be be back in touch with you within a day or two. There's a great person I know and trust, who could help with refinancing.
