Those who work at night, on weekends or holidays may be paid extra for these shifts, depending on location. BMW offers a pension fund, as well as preferred financing to employees who purchase one of the company's products.
Once hired, BMW employees are given opportunities to train for higher level positions with the company. Vocational training and continuing education programs are available. Project management training is also offered to employees.
Internships at BMW
BMW has several internship opportunities available to students. Those accepted into the program should plan to spend at least two months with the company, but BMW prefers to work with interns in six-month increments.
Available internships are posted on the Job Market page of the company web site. Applications are only accepted online. Prospective interns are encouraged to check the site often; BMW updates it daily.
