Interning at Ernst & Young

Ernst & Young hires university students for two-month summer internships. The first week with the company is spent on training and orientation. Once the training period is finished, interns are given assignments to work on that are similar to those given to first-year associates with the company. They are given the opportunity to work with a variety of clients in real-life work settings.

Interns at Ernst & Young also develop their communication skills and abilities to function well as part of a team. They learn how to present information effectively and hone their writing skills.

Part of the experience of interning with Ernst & Young involves working with a counselor who can give valuable feedback. This person is available to guide the intern through the process of working with this large company so that they have the opportunity to show what they can do.
