FBI Hiring
The FBI is currently conducting a "hiring blitz." According to www.FBI.gov, the agency is looking to hire more than 2,100 professional staff employees and 850 special agents. That adds up to the largest hiring blitz in the FBI’s history. According to Assistant Director John Raucci of the FBI’s Human Resources Division, the Bureau is looking to bring more people on board with language and computer science skills. "But," explains Raucci, "we’re also looking for professionals in a wide variety of fields who have a deep desire to help protect our nation from terrorists, spies, and others who wish us harm."
The FBI has a slew of recruiting events over the course of this year. There is something going on nearly every week all across the country. The events should reach a diverse group of candidates - they are scheduled to appear at military career fairs, college job fairs, and job fairs for several different professional associations and student groups.
